Family health task implementation and the health status of diabetes mellitus patients: A correlational study

Introduction: Chronic conditions due to diabetes cause changes in patients’ health status and their family has importantroles the care. Therefore, this study aimed analyze relationship between task implementation of diabetics.
 Design methods: An observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach was used, while respondents consisted 327 caregivers mellitus patients. This used both Short Form Health Survey (SF-12) questionnaires.
 Results: The result Pearson Product Moment test showed correlation coefficient 0.593 0.000 p-value (α 0.05).
 Conclusions: It concluded that there fairly strong Nursing intervention is needed improve tasks.
